JOSEPH CARFAGNA, Jr. APPOINTED TO NBAA AMAC BOARD
Parsippany, New Jersey – November 18, 2013 Leading Edge Aviation Solutions, LLC one of the world’s leading aircraft sales, brokerage, consulting and dealer firms, is pleased to announce that our President, Joseph Carfagna, Jr., has been appointed to the Associate Member Advisory Council (AMAC) of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).
The purpose of the Associate Member Advisory Council of NBAA is to: (1) define the relationship among all segments of the NBAA Membership and to recommend programs that would improve communications between those segments and (2) advise the NBAA Board of Directors on areas of interest to the Associate Membership.
Joe Carfagna Jr. is the President of Leading Edge Aviation Solutions and is known throughout the aviation community for his get-it-done attitude, professionalism and high ethical standards. He is an enthusiastic manager, seasoned salesman, and an aviation expert.
After graduating from the University of Delaware in 1991 Joe joined the team at Wings Aviation International, a predecessor company to Leading Edge. During his years with Wings Aviation International as well as for the past eight years with Leading Edge Aviation Solutions, he has purchased, brokered and sold all types of small, mid and large cabin corporate aircraft. Joe has in-depth knowledge of all corporate jet markets and has sold or acquired models of King Air, Citation, Learjet, Embraer, Hawker, Falcon, Challenger, Global Express, Gulfstream, and Boeing Business Jet aircraft.
Leading Edge has been involved in over ten billion dollars’ worth of aircraft transactions comprised of sales, purchases, leases, new aircraft completions and acceptances on six continents with large corporations, privately held companies, foreign governments and wealthy individuals.
Joe is married with two children living in Mendham, NJ and is actively involved in his community as a baseball and softball coach for both children. He is also a board member for Cornerstone Family Service (formerly known as Family Service of Morris County), a charitable organization supporting over 7,000 children, families and seniors, founded in 1813. Joe is an avid classic car enthusiast and collector and is a member of numerous organizations dedicated to the hobby.
