Craig A. Carfagna
Craig serves Leading Edge as EVP of Transactions and Operations. In this capacity, he works with the clients to conclude aircraft sales and acquisition transactions after a Leading Edge sales professional has structured a deal with the client. This may entail working with a client inside and/or outside counsel with LOI, contract negotiation, coordination of pre-purchase inspections, and all aspects of carrying out a purchase or sales transaction.
Craig handles the day-to-day office operations in the New Jersey headquarters, with administration and accounting reporting to him.
Craig joined the sales team of Wings Aviation International, a predecessor company to Leading Edge, in 1996, with a background in charter sales and aircraft management that he acquired while working for Executive Jet Aviation, KC Aviation, and Atlantic Aviation. During this time, Craig mastered the fundamentals of aircraft operations and dispatch, handled the charter needs of several Fortune 500 companies, and began developing a network of contacts in the business aircraft community.
Craig has performed aircraft appraisals, negotiated contracts, and closed a wide range of aircraft sales and acquisitions, ranging from King Airs and Citations to Global Express and BBJ aircraft.
His enthusiasm for general aviation is always apparent, and it has motivated him to obtain a multi-engine private pilot’s license with instrument rating.
When Craig is not in the office, he can probably be found riding his motorcycle (if it’s a nice, sunny day).
