Leading Edge is fortunate to have Rick on our team as Senior VP of Aircraft Sales. Rick is a tremendous asset to our growing company. He is a well-known, seasoned aviation professional with over 36 years of management and aircraft sales experience.

Before joining Leading Edge, Rick was with Bell Aviation for 18 years. For 15 of those years, he acted as VP, responsible for the operations of the company, as well as overseeing the aircraft sales function. His prior experience also includes two years in charter sales and six years in aircraft sales with Eagle Aviation. Rick has been with Leading Edge for ten years.

Rick has sold all types of business aircraft, from turbo-props to large cabin aircraft, such as Gulfstream, Challenger, and Falcon. He has conducted many overseas transactions and is familiar with the complexities of overseas sales and purchases. His years of international experience are a valuable asset for our clients.

Rick served 11 years in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Huey pilot. He also has a commercial pilot’s license and is instrument rated for both airplane, land and sea, and helicopter.

Rick has a B.S. degree in Marine Science from the University of South Carolina. He has been married for 40 years and has two children, one granddaughter and one grandson. He enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, and riding motorcycles.
